The Junior Architect (BIM) will support the design and documentation process through the development of Building Information Models (BIM) using Autodesk Revit and related tools. Working under the guidance of senior architects and BIM coordinators, the role focuses on producing accurate 3D models, drawings, and coordinated documentation for architectural projects.

This position is ideal for an architect with strong design fundamentals, technical drafting skills, and a keen interest in digital design and BIM workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed BIM models and construction drawings in Revit for architectural design projects.

• Assist senior architects and BIM coordinators in preparing design documentation from concept to construction stage.

• Ensure models and drawings comply with project BIM standards, templates, and LOD (Level of Development) requirements.

• Coordinate with other disciplines (Structural, MEP, Civil) to ensure design integration and resolve clashes or inconsistencies.

• Support the setup and maintenance of BIM content, families, and project libraries.

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to model updates and issue resolutions.

• Prepare schedules, quantities, and views as required from the BIM model.

• Ensure accurate data entry, version control, and adherence to BIM execution plans (BEPs).

• Stay updated with the latest BIM and Revit developments and contribute to workflow improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).

• Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in architectural design/documentation, with a focus on BIM and Revit.

• Software Proficiency:

  • Mandatory: Autodesk Revit (Architecture), AutoCAD

  • Preferred: Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, Enscape, Lumion, Dynamo (basic scripting)

• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, detailing, and construction documentation.

• Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650, AIA, PAS 1192, etc.) is an advantage.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in BIM technologies and digital design methods.
