| Job Description: |
The Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Executive ensures that Sadiq Gelatin Industries operates in full conformity with international and national regulatory standards, customer requirements, certification bodies, and internal company policies. The role involves audit preparation, inter-agency liaison, employee training, data privacy governance, and promoting a culture of ethical conduct and discipline across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Certification Management
Maintain compliance with all required certifications (e.g., BRCGS, Halal MS1500:2019, U.S. FDA, AQD Registration).
Ensure company processes meet international food, pharmaceutical, and export standards.
Prepare and coordinate audits with internal teams and external bodies, including third-party auditors and government departments.
Oversee the timely renewal of registrations and manage up-to-date documentation.
Government & Third-Party Liaison
Act as the main point of contact for regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and government departments.
Manage all communication and correspondence using company-provided mobile, email, and computer systems.
Draft and manage formal submissions, authorization letters, and follow-up documentation.
Internal Policies & Conduct Enforcement
Ensure compliance with the company’s data privacy policy, protecting confidential information.
Monitor and enforce the prohibition of personal mobile phone use in factory areas to safeguard process integrity.
Support internal reporting structures and ensure ethical handling of violations or breaches.
Employee Training & Awareness
Conduct compliance training for employees across departments on certification standards, GMP, data handling, hygiene, and safety.
Maintain accurate records of employee participation, assessments, and competency levels.
Promote awareness of internal policies such as reporting good work, team collaboration, and discipline.
Monitoring & Documentation
Maintain audit-ready files, logs, and version-controlled documentation of certificates, reports, and correspondence.
Monitor risks or legal changes and communicate updates to senior management.
Generate regular compliance and performance reports, highlighting corrective actions and observations.
Workplace Resources Provided
Dedicated workstation, computer, printer/scanner, and secure access to compliance archives.
Official company email and mobile phone for regulated external communications.
Access to internal data repositories and compliance reporting dashboards.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Assurance, Industrial Compliance, or a related field.
Certification in HACCP, BRCGS, Halal MS1500, ISO 9001, or regulatory affairs is preferred.
Experience
2–4 years in a compliance or regulatory role within a manufacturing, food processing, or pharmaceutical environment.
Hands-on experience with audits, certification renewals, and internal compliance monitoring.
Skills & Attributes
Strong understanding of regulatory standards, GMP, and documentation control.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
