| Job Description: |
We are seeking a professional and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the Chairman of the Sectoral Council for Processed Food, an official council constituted by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, under the Strategic Trade Policy Framework (STPF) 2020–2025.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Chairman in a national-level leadership capacity, coordinating with senior government officials, ministries, trade bodies, and top-level food industry executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive & Administrative Support:
- Manage daily schedule, appointments, and task priorities for the Chairman
- Draft, review, and format official documents, emails, and memos
- Record meeting minutes, follow-up actions, and maintain correspondence logs
- Handle secure documentation, filing, and record-keeping for all policy and council activities
Council & Policy Coordination:
- Assist in arranging official council meetings and communication with members
- Follow up with TDAP, Ministry of Commerce, PSQCA, Food Authorities, and other stakeholders
- Assist in preparing council recommendations, trade policy documents, and reports
- Coordinate logistics for visits, conferences, and sectoral engagements
Stakeholder & Government Liaison:
- Act as communication bridge with ministries (e.g., MoCom, MNFSR, TDAP), council members, and industry stakeholders
- Maintain updated directories and organize outreach to companies and institutions across food processing sectors
- Support the Chairman’s interactions with industry groups (gelatin, confectionery, pulp, dairy, meat, halal foods, etc.)
About the Sectoral Council:
The Sectoral Council for Processed Food is part of the Government of Pakistan’s strategic initiative under STPF 2020–25 to strengthen exports, solve sector-wide challenges, and align industrial growth with trade policy.
As Chairman, the employer represents the entire processed food industry — including gelatin, confectionery, sauces, beverages, halal foods, etc. The council works closely with ministries and regulators to enhance Pakistan’s trade image, eliminate substandard production practices, and promote value-added exports.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Business, Management, Public Policy, or related fields

Experience: 3+ years in executive support or administrative roles in government affairs, corporate, or trade policy environments

- High-level drafting & correspondence
- Meeting scheduling and coordination
- MS Office & Google Workspace proficiency
- Professional etiquette, discretion, and proactive attitude
