We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager – Blending Hall & Mill to oversee blending, milling, sieving, and packing operations at our gelatin plant. The role demands a strong technical background, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in managing process equipment, workforce, and compliance with international standards.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, quality compliance, machine performance, and process improvement, while leading a skilled workforce toward operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily activities of the Blending Hall & Mill section.
• Supervise operations of messing, sieving, milling, and packing with focus on accuracy, hygiene, and efficiency.
• Monitor raw material handling, blending ratios, and recipe accuracy.
• Ensure all machines are operated under safe, optimized, and approved SOPs.
• Minimize downtime through effective preventive and corrective maintenance coordination.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Halal Certification, and HSE protocols.
• Conduct in-process checks in collaboration with QA/QC teams.
• Guarantee proper sieving and particle size distribution for consistent product quality.
• Implement hygiene and sanitation standards across blending and milling areas.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, motivate, and supervise operators, helpers, and shift staff.
• Assign workforce duties effectively and manage shift rotations.
• Conduct technical training sessions, SOP refreshers, and toolbox talks.
• Maintain discipline, performance, and safety awareness among staff.

Process & Productivity Improvement

• Identify process bottlenecks and propose efficiency improvements.
• Reduce wastage and optimize yield through lean manufacturing practices.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, downtime, and rejection rates.
• Support R&D/Production teams in implementing new blending or milling techniques.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production logs, machine performance records, and shift reports.
• Track downtime, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and manpower utilization.
• Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports for management.
• Ensure traceability and compliance with documentation standards.

Special Key Responsibilities (Blending Hall & Mill):

• Messing: Supervise mixing and homogenization of gelatin batches for consistency.
• Sieving: Ensure product passes through proper mesh sizes for quality compliance.
• Packing: Oversee packing lines for weight accuracy, labeling, hygiene, and sealing.
• Machine Handling: Monitor blending, milling, sieving, and packing machines for cleaning, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
