| Job Description: |
We are looking for an experienced Import/Procurement Manager to be responsible for the supply of products and services essential for our company’s operations. The candidate will be responsible for correspondence with Foreign Suppliers and should have aleast 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- The incumbent must be able to plan, organize, lead and control the affairs of imports department as per company system.
- Must have good knowledge of all commercial matters related to imports.
- Liaison with banks for processing L/C, Advance payments and other relevant matters.
- Should have strong grip on Microsoft Office/have ability to operate computer software/ERP System.
- Make contact with shipping lines and forwarders regarding shipments and remain in touch with shipping lines to keep track of consignments.
- Furnish all necessary documents to clearing agents for custom clearance and follow up the clearance
- Communicate with Insurance Company for Marine Insurance Policies and Claims.
- Calculation of landed cost after the arrival of consignment in factory warehouse
- Should have the ability to work as a team member.
- Should have strong planning, organizing, communication, negotiation and decision making skills.
