JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an International Education Counselor to join our team and support our education consultation services in Pakistan for clients aspiring to study abroad, mainly in the United Kingdom and Canada.

A successful counselor will act as the point of contact for all client queries on International Education, providing administrative support and managing their casework. Main duties include managing counselor services, preparing regular reports (e.g. client reports, activity), organizing client records, and other tasks as assigned by management. If you have previous experience as an International Education Counselor or in a similar role, we’d like to meet you!

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our counseling activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively identify and respond to the needs of students and/or educational institutions.

• Actively engage with students and communicate on international study programs.

• Gather, disseminate, and share best practices in international student placement.

• Be able to understand and consult students on challenges with studying abroad.

• Effectively recruit students for international placement.

• Communicate with students on their queries promptly and with passion.

• Work in line with a professional code of ethics and remain impartial.

• Prepare regular reports and update management on all student recruitment and counseling.

• Maintain and update company databases.

• Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents.

• Update client records and files daily.

• Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments.

• Handle other management assigned tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or a higher qualification

• Proven work experience as a counselor or similar role

• Solid knowledge of international education counseling

• Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Attention to detail

COMPENSATION

Estimated: PKR 35,000 – PKR 45,000 per month (Will be discussed in detail with the potential candidate)

Excellent bonus package based on performance.
