We are currently developing a new range of Sports and Activewear that is launching in 2021.

We are seeking an experienced Apparel production manager with proven track record in merchandising, Research and development, construction, and production management ideally with a factory making international sports brands.

You would be responsible for developing a new range of sportswear with imported and local materials.

You would upgrade and manage our production facility to produce this new range.

Key Competencies

• Highly experienced in Sportswear development, merchandising and construction with local and imported components
• Proven experience in Sportswear production management
• Expertise in setting up various aspects of production cutting, printing, heat transfer logos, stitching and packaging
• Good understanding of knitted and woven fabrics
• Comprehensive understanding of machines/ equipment required for a particular garment manufacturing process
• Highly organized, fast working with a “Can do” attitude to getting the job done
• Possesses high attention to detail and accuracy

Your role & responsibilities

• Develop new range of sports and activewear on seasonal basis
• Develop/organize new materials, trims and accessories from local and overseas suppliers
• Oversee development of Tech packs, Cad designs, patterns and create prototypes for testing
• Set up and manage apparel production
• Hire, train, motivate and manage human resources for the apparel unit
• Maintain a flexible production capacity to maintain ups and downs in production demand
• Implement and maintain a QC system to make sure all products are produced as per agreed quality standards
