Job Description

The incumbent is responsible to investigate history and credit standing of individuals applying for credit through field verification.

Also, the incumbent is responsible to perform independent reviews on compliance with policies and procedures and Code of Conduct, assess adequacy of risk management controls, observance of regulatory requirements and highlight any potential violations.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure Pre- and post- disbursement loan verification of the loan portfolio as per mandate
• given by management encompassing but not limited to the:-
• Reviewing of loan application form for completeness and accuracy;
•  Review documents submitted for application for authenticity and completeness;
•  Conduct onsite visit to business and/or customers/guarantor premises;
•  Perform checks on cash flows projections submitted and if required, make recommendation on loan quantum.
•  Perform verification checks prior to onboarding of Shroff/goldsmith;
•  Conduct follow-up verification checks as referred by Tele-Verification Officers;
•  Identify and report any anomalies, discrepancies or suspicious matters noted during verification checks to Field Risk Supervisor;
•  Maintain up-to-date and accurate credit decisions in accordance with internal policies and procedures;
•  Update loan files in system within defined turnaround time;
•  Prepare and submit management reporting in accordance with internal policies and procedures; and
•  Be involved in ad hoc projects or assignments.
